This story shocked me, and it really hurted me.. when I heart about this.
I didn't know Derrion Albert but the way he was killed, he was freaking Beaten to death! My condolances to the family, my full support!

16-year-old Derrion Albert, a student at Fenger High School, was beaten to death by a group of other youths Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 in a vacant lot next to a community center in Chicago's Roseland community. Witnesses say Albert, an honor roll student, got caught up in the melee was a culmination of a simmering rivalry between two groups of Fenger students, one that lived near the school and the other from the Altgeld Gardens housing development.

We chose the dumbest things to go the hardest for. I remember seeing deaths over 8 ball jackets, Fila sneakers, and name plate chains. Deaths over "he say, she say"!!!!! "I'm from this block or I'm from that block", or "my moms n pops is f*cked up now the whole world gotta pay"!!!
I remember feeling like I was the hardest "n*gga" breathing. And I couldn't wait to prove it. But let's think. What are we really proving?? And proving what to who?? Everybody knows Chicago breeds the strongest of the strong but I just feel, me, being ya brother from another state feels your pain as if I grew up with you in ya very own household.
You have the ability and mindpower to change they way we are looked at. Look who's watching us young warriors, look who's throwing us in jail constantly, look at the ignorance in the world. Look at the racist dogs who love to see us down. Loving to bury us in the ground or in jail where we continue this worthless war on one another.
Young warriors.... We are WASTING more and more time. We gotta get on our jobs and take over the world. Cuz this movie left the theaters years ago, Juice, Menace, Boys n the Hood , Blood n Blood Out, Belly!
When we see each other why do we see hatred? Why were we born in a storm, born soldiers, WARRIORS....and instead of building each other up we are at war with each other.. May the soul of this young person find peace with the almighty. I'm with you young warriors. You're me and I'm you. But trust me! you are fighting the wrong war.

First game

Yooooo,

So we had our first game.. we were all little bit nerveous because we were only with 7guys.

we started of right, we had our offence 4up.. it was pretty good..

then the second quarter came and they came back.. the 3th quarter we came back a little but..

and last quarter we lost..

we lost with 64-43.. 21pts,

I am looking forward to the next game, though it is gonna a really hard game,

Hope we can succeed to win.

Thoughts of the weekend

Yoo..

Yesterday I played Basketball outside with my team,
we trained outside.. first we were going to the forest.. where we ran a couple of rounds.. then we had some things we had to do, sit ups, pull-ups.. and then run a round again..
Then we were going on our bikes to the basketballcourt, where we practised some tactics, and played a quick game to 5points.. then a shootout..
Then the practise was finished.

Today I had a Birthday from a friend of mine, where I went..
and Now i'm busy with homework, listening some new music and blogging!

What isz on my Mindd,

this is yaboyy..
Got a lot of things in my mind right now. First just had my second schoolweek, and I now already have some homework.. And I have to do 10hours of intership, and 10hours of making reports of the internship.
I had my first 4 basketballpractises.. They are tough and hard.. but exactly what I was looking for.. Next saturday I have my first game, it's a 20minute ride to the place I have the play the game. But I really hope I win.. because in my first season We ended 2nd. after losing the championship game at my homecourt, we losed by 15points..
Last season we ended last place.. we played a higher level.. and older, bigger and stronger opponents.
I will upload pictures and stuff as soon as possible..
